.....

I hoped this summer will end happily, but now I doubt it will.
My family and I were staying in Liwa the last tow weeks after we came back from Lebanon. Everything was going just great and I was enjoying my time visiting my relatives. My uncle's wife made a competition in here house for the best dates (the fruit of the palm tree), and a lot of women joined the competition including my mom who won the 8th place. That was really fun especially with a lot of old women involved and each one of them saying her dates were the best.
The next day I was going to go with my sister to my grandmother's house coz some of my cousins will be there. I was just getting myself ready when I heard that my 12 year old brother had a motorcycle accident. He was taken to the hospital in Liwa but because of their lack of good doctors they sent him to Madinat Zayed Hospital where they X-rayed him and found a broken bones in his right hand and a scratch in his shoulder's bone. He also had an internal wound in his stomach, thank God he wasn't badly injured. His face wounds were treated but my dad thought that it would be better for my brother to get the rest of the treatment in AbuDhabi. Of course we all left Liwa heading to AbuDhabi but we didn't have time to pack all our stuff, which means we will have to go back to Liwa to get them when my brother's situation gets better. He is actually getting better now after two days, but he will need sometime to fully recover.
There are a lot of kids who ride on motorcycles in liwa (they are 4 wheels motorcycles and come in sizes). The younger kids ride on the small sized ones but my brother had a big sized one and it was very fast. In liwa they love riding them and playing on the sand dunes. However, they are very dangerous and there has been a lot of accidents. Also the weather in Liwa is extremely hot especially between 12 to 4pm and still you find kids outside their homes riding motorcycles. But even if a kid didn't have his own motorcycle he will go and ride with another kid who has one. It is a very big problem.
