Busy Weekend
On Thursday, I was supposed to study cuz for my finals but I had to go on a trip to Dubai & Ajman. I actually was planning to go to Ajman before tow weeks but there wasn’t a chance and on Thursday my aunt was going so I had to take this chance and go. I needed to buy me 6aqem (3abaya+shaila) for 3ied. Why Ajman? Simply because here in Abudhabi its so expensive –of course the nice designs not the plain ones-. And in Ajman there are many 3abaya tailors who make them a lot cheaper ^_~.I woke up 8:30 am and left Abu Dhabi with my aunt at 9 am. First we went to Dubai cuz my aunt had some business over there. After she was done we went to Ajman and arrived at 1 pm. By that time a lot of shops started to close, and they will open at 5pm. So we looked in the shops that were still open and I was able to find a nice 3abaya design an told the tailor to make me the same design but in a different color. However, I wasn’t able to find something nice for my sister so we went to City Center to pray and have lunch. Then we went back to the shops, they were all open now and I found something for my sis finally.
In our way back to Abu Dhabi we stopped at the global village which was so amazing. My aunt wanted to buy some textiles in the Pakistani section. I found some beautiful accessories over there and bought some of them for me and my sister + a gift for Moony -I hope she likes it-. On our way out we saw the fireworks and bought some tea to drink it was shay karak which I love so much and I consider it the best tea ever –you’ll never know what I mean unless u have tried it-.
When we came back to AD a very thick fog was allover the place and my aunt’s driver lost the way to my home, so I kept telling him go here and go there. He couldn’t even see the street because the fog was really thick. Fortunately I know how to go back home even if it was foggy, thanks to God.
By the way, at that day my other aunt gave birth to a baby boy XD. They called him Saeed =happy, I hope for him to always bring happiness to his family.
Yesterday I was busy studying, I have exams, a project, and a presentation. I wish to be able to do well in all these cuz I really need to get good grades to raise my GPA.
